With the development in UPVC through the nineties and early two thousands, more and more conservatory design went to the use of these simpler and initially, more thermally efficient frames. Today’s aluminium conservatories offer everything that was good about UPVC but with modern design, durability and colour choice far outrivalling that of UPVC. The inclusion of polyamide, thermal breaks in the frame have remedied the old issue of cold conductivity and a lack of insulation, meaning todays modern conservatories are year round extensions to your home.
