This design shows one way of building a long conservatory, without it looking like a corridor. It has equal sight lines along the glass sections, achieved by fitting dummy sashes to all sections that do not open. Notice the new Blue Ultimate glazing to the roof and gable. This recently completed timber orangery perfectly illustrates the difference when looking up through a lantern as opposed to a conservatory roof. The rafter depth with timber is one of the details worth paying extra for and something that usually will not be seen on an aluminium or pvc roof section.
