Raise the (conservatory) roof!

Did you know that conservatory roofs can easily be replaced? So it makes great sense to take steps to get those ill-fitting panels updated with smarter and more effective ones. Lets’ face it, time takes its toll on most things but you don’t have to go all out for a completely new conservatory when it’s only the top bit that’s letting you down.

In the twenty-plus years that we’ve been installing conservatories, the choice of roofs and openings have come a long way. From 16mm polycarbonate sheeting in the 1980s to self-cleaning, heat deflecting/heat retaining glass in recent years.

The bottom line is that it costs about 25% of the total cost of a conservatory to replace the roof and have a smarter, more efficient and up-to-date product. So if your base and frames are fine, then look to the roof, raise it and replace it.
